Christine Hess is tackling Nevada’s affordable housing challenges with the vision of making a lasting impact in her community. Her background includes economic and community development, business, and nonprofit organization management. This diverse experience, coupled with her expertise in public policy and advocacy, has enabled her to develop a unique, cohesive skillset suited for addressing the state’s affordable housing needs.
Prior to joining the Nevada Housing Division (NHD), Christine was Executive Director of the Nevada Housing Coalition, a statewide nonprofit organization that aims to advance and promote affordable housing for all Nevadans. Collaborative, innovative and solutions oriented, Christine excels at fostering partnerships and optimizing resources to help make homeownership possible for even more first-time buyers. She is excited to continue her work addressing Nevada’s affordable housing needs through her advocacy of the Home Is Possible program.
